What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used.
Types we use
- Essential — required for sign-in, security, and core functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — anonymized usage data so we can improve the Service.
- Preferences — remember settings such as your default city and notification options.
- Advertising and measurement — set when you arrive from one of our ads so we can tell which ads bring people to Bar Bunny, and so we can build audiences for future ads. These are set by our advertising partners, not only by us.
Advertising cookies we set
Our website loads the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. Between them they set the following:
_fbp— Meta’s browser identifier, used to attribute a sign-up to the ad that led to it and to build advertising audiences. Expires after about 90 days._fbc— stores the click identifier from a Meta ad link so the visit can be matched to that ad. Expires after about 90 days._gaand_ga_*— Google Analytics, used to count visitors and understand how pages are used. Expires after about 2 years.
We also send conversion events to Meta directly from our servers. Where that includes an email address or phone number you typed on one of our invite or offer pages, it is irreversibly hashed before it is sent. See our Privacy Policy for details and for how to opt out.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent parts of the Service from working correctly; blocking advertising and measurement cookies has no effect on how the Service works for you.
You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings (iOS: “Allow Apps to Track”; Android: Ads privacy) and in your ad preferences on the platform itself. To opt out of targeted advertising entirely, email hello@barbunny.com.
